We have teamed up with Ashelyn from Urban Dwell Studio in the US to kit her latest pattern release, the Terrazzo Steps Quilt. Ashelyn is part of the Art Gallery Fabric Sewcialite group of pattern designers, and this pattern really caught our eye!

From Ashelyn:

The Terrazzo Steps Quilt Pattern was inspired by the gorgeous sparkling marble composite flooring found in the beautiful buildings of the early 20th century, such as the Empire State Building. Because this architectural element was once very popular for the use of stairs, it seemed fitting to form the design into a large “step” using a central chevron motif.

This pattern was created to help meld beginner piecing techniques with modern style so that whether this is your very first quilt or your thousandth, you’re left with a beautiful and functional object for your home.
